Professional Biography

Dr. Dirk Brückner is a Partner in the Munich office of GSK Stockmann, where he co-leads the firm’s Real Estate practice. Hhe advises on major domestic and cross-border real estate transactions, development projects, financing structures, asset management, and joint ventures. He has also held roles at international firms in New York and Paris early in his career.

Dr. Brückner earned his legal education at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich and the University of Passau, and worked as a research assistant in intellectual property and copyright law at LMU Munich. He was admitted to practice law in Germany in 1999.

He is active in the wider real estate and economic community — for instance, he serves as Chairman of the real-estate committee of the Wirtschaftsbeirat Bayern. He also serves on the Supervisory Board of Hammer AG.

Dr. Brückner has been recognized repeatedly for his expertise in real estate law, including being named “Lawyer of the Year – Real Estate Law (Bavaria)” by Handelsblatt / Best Lawyers in Germany in 2024 and 2020.
