Professional Biography

Jung Hwan Lee is a senior foreign legal consultant whose has practiced in Korea since 1999. He has extensive experience in overseas and domestic real estate acquisition and financing, development, industrial park investment, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and foreign investment.

In particular with his real estate practice, Junghwan’s real estate practice took off with his involvement in the first-ever office building sale and purchase project using REF structure in Seoul. He has been the legal advisor of Kyungbang Timessquare Mall, one of the most successful Korean retail mall development projects, and is currently looking over the operation of the mall. His recent focus is on the retail development and other commercial building transactions using collective investment vehicles. He has been recognized as a “Leading Lawyer” by Chambers Asia since 2013.

He has been working closely with international players such as Gaw Capital, Deutsche Bank, and his domestic clients include Samsung Life Insurance, Mirae Asset, IGIS Asset Management and numerous other asset management companies and brokerage firms.
